What Montreal has Taught Me So Far

Up till today, I have left home for almost 3 weeks. And it has been a journey of mixed feelings, joy, tears and discovery.

It has always been my dream since young to step outside of my country land to see what the ang mo countries have got to offer. It was my dream, and now it is a reality.

I wake up in the morning and as I soak myself with hot water in the bath tub, everything still seems too new, too fresh and too impossible.

Now, I pick pots and pans, distinguish between good and rotten potatoes, cook my meals, do my laundry, take the metro and call home everyday. Things that I wouldn't do when I live in the comfort of home, now I do.

And I must say, the grass on the other side is not always greener than you imagine. I see beggars lying around more than what I witness back at home, roads with potholes, reckless drivers, impolite service, rude people, educated yet uncivilized citizens, drugs and what nots.

But you see, life is much happier when you focus on the white paper rather than the black dot on it. And so, I enjoy the cool weather, thank the beggar who holds my door for me, drop the homeless old man a quarter and be grateful that I'm here in a foreign country, learning as much as I could.

As I strive hard to excel in what I'm doing now, I too, silently say my vow everyday, that I'm going to contribute back to people who are in need of my helping hands. Just like how others have helped me attained my goals today.

Smoked Meat @ Shwartz, Montreal, QC

Had my first meal of smoked meat at Shwartz, the resto that was voted as world's best smoked meat by North Americans.

Just had to try it since I have read and heard so much about this Montreal delicacy. Tried their smoked meat sandwich that is literally just meat sandwiched between 2 small slices of bread. Customers are given the choice to pick between lean, medium and fatty. Medium was just nice I would say but again, it's personal reference.

They serve other food as well like turkey and chicken platter plate, but they are so famous for their smoked meat that most customers wouldn't even need to look at the menu to know what they want. And people normally down their meat with a can of cherry coke that seems to be pretty popular there. Like a fizzy drink and tasted a lil like root beer.

Probably won't go back for a 2nd time anytime soon. I think it's more like a must-try-for-once-food, instead of a you-will-come-back-for-more kinda food. It's good, but once is enough for me. :)

All in all, dinner was pretty fruitful.

The Montreal Tower

Went on Discover Montreal trip yesterday. Found the Montreal Tower to be really cool. It is the highest inclined tower in the world, with a 175-metre elevation and a 45-degree angle. The Tower of Pisa, by comparison only has a 5 degree incline. :)

The Lucky King Bun @ Lukut, Port Dickson

While I was at Port Dickson for a short holiday with my friends, I managed to sink my teeth in the famous Lucky King Bun. It's basically curry chicken wrapped in a huge huge bun!

It's yummy albeit a little salty, but all is well.

It's really worth the try. The large bun costs RM25 and serves up to 6! :)

The Legend Water Chalets @ Port Dickson

Situated just a stone throw away from the Lukut town, the Legend Water Chalet has so much to offer. Be it a family vacation, a romantic couple retreat, or just a place for a huge bunch of friends to hang out with.

That was exactly what I did with my 16 other close college mates at Port Dickson, just a couple of weeks ago: building fond memories before we part for a better future. :)

Anyway, the idea of sleeping above the sea is pretty cool, but rest assured, these chalets aren't kampung style houses-on-stilts. They are 4-star decent chalets with bathtub and Plasma TVs, overlooking the breathtaking Straits of Malacca. It's all cool and awesome, especially during the evenings! The panoramic view of the last ray of sunlight shining on the sea is sufficient to sweep you off your feet.

I like the sunbed and the lazy chairs at the balcony the most. For those who love to read like me, those two spots are just ideal for your serious hobby! Especially after a lovely swim at the pool or beach, it's just pure bliss to lie on the chair and read all you want.

And, and, and, their shower room has an open-sky roof concept. So you practically can have the stars and moon to accompany you shower at night :)

If BBQ is your thing, you can run to the next door hotel, the Glory Hotel to borrow their facilities. Just set up your equipment by the beach, the management doesn't really bother.

And, if you're lucky like me, you might even get to watch meteor by the beach with a gang of awesome friends! :D

Nice place with awesome food. Not so crowded, quiet, nice sofas. Suitable for a date or just pure relaxing. Parkings are easily available. Most importantly, food is good. :)

Price is also reasonable. WiFi is available! Another added point.

The pretzels are freshly baked on the spot. Yummy! Even better than Aunty Anne's.

A week of tension and damaging stress is finally announced over. I now officially look forward to the upcoming one week holiday even though it is again packed with tight schedule and a whole list of things to do. Just took the Academic Module of IELTS English Proficiency Test @ IDP Education Centre, Subang Jaya.

To give you a sneak peek of what IELTS Academic Module is like:

It constitutes 4 different parts of the language skills-

SPEAKING

Candidates are tested by an examiner in a small interview room, small enough for you to hear the echo of your own heartbeat. 3 parts to this section and candidates are required to speak on various topics, both at personal and a more general level. Examiners look for spontaneity, originality, clarity and fluency.

LISTENING

Remember to get all geared up and ready for this section as it is the most fast-paced and demanding section of all. If you miss a part of the audio conversation, you would most probably get panic and miss the rest as well. There are in total 4 different conversations that test your listening ability, in which you would need to listen carefully and answer questions regarding the audio script.

READING

I think this is the most relaxing section among all 4 parts of the test as it does not require much mental effort. Just pay attention to small details in the articles and be focused when reading the texts. Most of the answers to the questions can easily be detected. Only a couple needs analysis and thinking. A total of 3 articles are there in this reading section.

WRITING

A part that is feared by many as it requires data analysis and good communication skills in conveying information in the form of an essay. Candidates are supposed to analyse trends in graphs, charts, tables, diagrams and transfer the information into text in Task 1. In the next task, a minimum 250 word essay is written regarding general issues.

Out of a band of 9, candidates would be graded by a few examiners. Normally a band of 6.5 and above would be sufficient to get you into a university of your choice. And that same applies to myself. So, I cross my fingers and pray hard.

Short Story.

I, have a boring life. Hence, any event that takes place out of my regular routine is considered extraordinary.

So, on this particular evening of my life, I was driving on the road on my journey back home from school. The air conditioner was on its full blast mode as the scorching sun had no mercy on us earthlings and the heat was just unbearable.

All that I had in mind was to get home as soon as possible, then indulge myself in a heavenly cold shower after a long day of hectic schedule. Judging from the emptiness of the highway, I conveniently concluded that it was rather safe to accelerate. And the next thing I did was step harder on the accelerator and my car sped through the empty lane like a fast breeze in air.

Then, suddenly, out of no where, just like how a car accident is always described - a loud thump was heard and I shrieked in terror; only this time, the accident victim did not hit another car or a poor pedestrian. Instead, it was a cow accident. That explained the long "Moooo~" moan that I heard before crashing my head on the steering wheel.

I totally had no idea how, when and where did the clumsy creature dash out from. It was only when I came to and regained my composure, did I realize that my windscreen was still intact, but splashed with fresh blood like a piece of abstract art, the front part of the car fully dented and the cow had already dropped dead on the ground.

But above all: I was fined by the police for reckless driving and causing the death of a sacred Holy creature of our Indian community.

Valentine's Day is not confined to just lovers and couples.

It is a day for you and I. You, be it a partner, a parent, a daughter, a friend, a teacher or even, just a stranger.

I miss the days back in high school where we could send gifts to friends on V-day and tease each other if any of us girls received unexpected gifts from the boys. It was all fun and no big deal.

Really.

I remember sending lovely chocolates to all my classmates just one year ago on V-day. Time flies.

I wonder how would it be like this year.

Singapore is notoriously infamous for its 'kiasu' culture. Wikipedia defines it as a Hokkien (a Chinese spoken variant) word that literally means 'fear of losing' (Mandarin Chinese: 怕輸)

Up till today, I have met many people around me who have this attitude embedded in them, and I'm pretty sure there are many more to come in the future years of my life.

Whatever they call it, kiasu or the love for winning, I say it's rather the spirit of fighting on. No matter the cost of the battle, regardless of the losses, I persevere and go on.

It is the inability to let go.

Noble Family Steak House 贵族世家牛排 @ Taipan USJ, Malaysia

When sisters get together, they go cuckoo.

Opening of new restaurant outlets is always welcomed as Invisible Hand is put to work to create more competition among businesses. And so is Noble Family Steak House welcomed to its new home in Taipan USJ10, Malaysia.

Apparently this Taiwanese franchise restaurant outlet in Taipan USJ10 is the first in Malaysia. Tried out with parents but was rather disappointed, to be true.

They serve main course meal of steak (cooked to different level of your choice), squid, salmon, lamb chop and chicken. Sadly no pork is served, but that's still fine with me. And salad bar with unlimited flow of 'premium' ice cream, bread, fruit juice, salad and what-not. is provided.

With an order of a main course meal, you get to enjoy free flow of salad bar; or else you could just pay for the salad bar according to your height and eat till you drop.

The price ranges from RM 39-RM60, which I thought was rather pricey. I mean, with that price that you pay, you could have enjoyed a nice meal of buffet with fresh oysters and PREMIUM ice cream like Haagen Dazs or Baskins, but not MatKool Rainbow. To be honest, I was slightly let down despite the nice ambiance and classy feel of the place.

The restaurant gives me a chinesey buffet style feel. Food was nice, but just NICE: nothing more than ordinary. The sauce to accompany the steak was good, but not special lahh. But I liked the way they cooked my lamb, again: just nice. Not overcooked! :)

When We Were Younger

When sisters and I were younger, we had rather peculiar way of savoring food that we deemed luxurious: SNACKS.

A packet of potato chips was luxury. Ferrero Rocher was luxury. Even a bottle of sparkling juice meant the whole world to us.

Yes, we were that easily satisfied.

And since mom and dad seldom pampered us girls with those, they were precious. Packets could only be torn open with the permission from eldest sis as she was the boss.

We would all squeeze ourselves on the living room sofa, fighting among each other to gain the seat closest to the boss, who would normally be holding the gold. Then the TV would be switched on and most of the time our eyes would be glued to the packet of chips rather than on the TV. We dived greedily into the chips and were normally told to eat slowly, preferably piece by piece. No, to be more precise, bite by bite. :D

Trust me, food actually tastes better eaten that way than having it gobbled down all at once. The squabbles and fighting with each other spice up and add flavor to the simplest things in life.

And for the daintily wrapped Ferrero Rocher? I would devour it layer by layer, starting from the crisp outer layer to the chocolate-filled center. By then I would be on cloud nine and starting to wonder why do happy times pass much faster than normal.

Old habits die hard. Up till 18, I still get the weird stares from friends whenever I indulge in my heavenly way of eating chocolate or snacks. Well, only my sisters understand. :)

Wisdom comes not with knowledge, but with experience.

I've grown more in half a year of my new program, than so many years of my life. Getting a different view and perspective of life is pretty awesome.

Maturity comes not with age, but with acceptance of responsibilities.

So many issues have happened lately. Makes me ponder and grow. It really doesn't matter to me anymore, you can do anything that you like and ignore my existence but someday I'm just going to bounce back and show you: I've got more than you thought.

I may be living in a condition not as luxurious as yours, but I do not let my morale be compromised. Unlike you.

I wanna live a life of dignity. Not having to doubt myself at the bed of grave.

If you live only with friends who offer supportive care and sweet words of comfort, you'll wither and die when the storm comes. On the other hand, the enemy who attacks and accuses makes you stronger in your abilities. I thank you for letting me grow.

I live not by how you view me. But how I look at myself. I'm more than glad that I'll be flying soon, not having to look at your seemingly fair faces which hide hideously foul hearts.

The week has passed so quickly and things are returning to normal after dearest #1 and #2 have gone back to their respective workplace.

I truly enjoyed the stay back at home with laughters filling up the living room and dining area once again. Even squabbles made my days (:

Looking forward to spending more time together again!

Can't believe a small change in life can bring about so huge impact. I'm leaving in a year's time. Definitely not ready for that.

Awesome week spent with Papa Mama and sisters, wrapping it up with a scrumptious authentic Malaysian meal - Nasi Lemak, Char Kuey Tiao, Nasi Kapitan and Penang Curry Mee for lunch (:

Fuuuuh.. 14 Songs!

That's amazing.

It's pretty incredible to play that many songs in 2 hours time with just a short 15 min break in between.

Used to be a band member, I can feel the exhaustion, especially those who are playing big huge instruments that can make you faint.

Yup, the awesome Seafield School Band (SSB) once again amazed its audience by bringing us the wonderful band concert.

Named Reprise, Evolution of Sound, it means a return to an original theme or a repetition.

Although it lacked the oomph that we had all experienced in the previous concerts, but it was not too bad. A few songs definitely worth mentioning were like Nobody, Doraemon, Mission Impossible, Saxophone for Blues and Without You.

Without You was specially dedicated to our dear Principal who is going to bid farewell to Seafield after her long service at the school at the end of this year.

It all ended with an Encore of Nobody with the crowd cheering for the dancers (sexier than the band members). I don't know if it was a right choice to make, but those dancers definitely stole all the limelight away from the band. Oh well...

I liked the fact that everything was on time and it was pretty relaxing. I really did need a break off from work and assignments. Thank goodness for the free tickets! Love you sis.

And special thanks to Kristin Yeo for picking us up for dinner and sending us home after the concert. (:

Ever heard of the story the young man who survived the crocodile pool?

At a rich woman's poolside party, she offered a grand reward for the person who's able to swim across to the other side of the pool. Filled with hungry crocodiles. Vampire-like ones.

Nobody dared to risk their life.
Who had that kind of courage and everyone was questioning their own capability.

The risk was just not worth taking.

"Pooooooooooof!"

Everyone turned, had a shock of their life, gasped, put their hands close to their mouths, and some thought he was not going to make it.

Yup, a young man jumped in. With a beautiful style too. (:

He swam and swam with all his might. For his life, or the reward? Oh well, who knows.

And in the end, he did it!

Just when everyone was so amazed by his awesome swimming and survival skills, he shouted out :

WHO PUSHED ME INTO THE POOOOOOOOOOLLL??!!

Yup, exactly. Life's like that.

Sometimes you just need a little push from the pack, thrown into the deep waters then you'll learn how to survive.

Hiding away is an option. But not something that an optimistic person would do, I suppose.

I'm brave and I can do this.

I will face it like how I did many times before.

The many interviews that I've feared so much and yet managed to step out of the interview room with a big smile and relief sigh.

The many camps that I've joined and never regretted before.

Taking up Further Math as my 4th subject in A-Lvls and scored an A, at last.

I just realised by listing down my accomplishments, I feel rather small. Not that I've never accomplished. But still, I don't feel it's ever enough. When was the last time I actually said yes to a task given, but not pushed it away? Looking high and low for 1001 excuses, just to keep myself in my comfort zone.

Gosh, it's time to start saying YES. Self motivate helps, alright?

Wake up, wake up!

At times, when you contemplate on a decision too profoundly, you would just choose to abandon it and shy away.

What's best to do is keep it at the back of your mind, and show your best when the right time comes.

Second Chance

For 2 weeks, I was cranky, upset and frustrated.

For there was no justice from what I had witnessed with both bare eyes and certainly it pained me to think about the future.

Yeah, it was the naked truth.

Hot-tempered, awful words I blurted without any second thoughts. Selfish, ruthless. The atmosphere at home was doomed. I knew everyone shared my agony, that was what made things worse.

I prayed hard at night before I got to bed that it was nothing but a nightmare. Something that I wouldn't wish to relive in my dreams. But for umpteenth time I checked on the webpage, it still showed the same result.

Feeling dejected, I felt nothing but empty. Lost in the world so wide, I didn't know what else to grasp on before being taken away by the merciless tidal waves.

I moved on, didn't know how I found back my self and spirit to keep on going. I just knew, that was what I needed to do. One week left for the Semester exam, with a disaster like that, my concentration was totally disturbed. My schedule was ruined, many times of silent cries in the bathroom, my mood was just like a rocky boat. Swayed up and down, aimless.

I had only one question every night before I went to bed : why is it so unfair?

Many times, I tried to muster my courage and apologize for my unpredictable mood swings, but all I managed was to tear and hide back.

However, I learned my most valuable lesson through the hardest way : The biggest love you can get is family love.

They gave me the reassurance. They became my crutch, lifted me up. Helped me to look for my lost confidence. Became my lost hands and mind. Thank you.

They made me felt safe.

I knew I belonged.

Now that I'm given a second chance, I had nothing else to wish for. Every time I took up the joss sticks, all that I could ask for is good health for my family.

Nothing can change my love for them.

I've cheered and cried over my SPM results, attended interviews, passed my driving test, sat for endless tests (and still counting on) and the list goes on.

Soon, I'm going to prepare for UCAS, study for semester 1 exam, work hard for trials, squeeze myself inside out for AS and continue the war with A2. Gosh. This is so stressful.

Why was I so persistent in signing up for A Levels again? Because I want to be ME. The non-quitter.

Life is Like Solving Further Math

Walking down the journey of life is similar to solving Further Math questions.

Let me further explain and enhance my statement.

When we were first exposed to Further Math, it felt like being a baby, new to the world and pretty lost.

As we crawl through and start walking on our feet through the alien examples, we start to search for answers ourselves and understand how things work.

When we get more and more exposed to different types of questions, we start thinking of various ways and alternatives to solve one problem. We get more experienced each day by taking one step at a time, drawing nearer to the finishing line.

When we get the answers, we cheer in joy. Success in life makes you overjoy.

However, whenever you get stuck, you frown, and may just give up. But, at the end of the day, you will still pick yourself up and continue with your half-done war. Because, you're no one to say no to challenges in life if you love yourself and life.

As you walk further, you gain more. You learn, unlearn and relearn. That's the knowledge of : LIFE.

And, no matter how long the journey is, you know there will be someone, walking down the road with you.

Pyramid Outing with College Mates

I always think it's a wrong idea to plan a shopping outing with girlfriends before class ends. Know why?

You end up day dreaming in class, thinking of what lunch to have and what to shop for.

Reminds me of electrons. When they're overjoyed, they get promoted from ground state to excited state. Then - they get out of control. And they do crazy stuff.

Okay. Met up with classmate's ex classmates and went to Zanmai for lunch. After having to go there for so many times, it somehow doesn't taste as good as before anymore. Somehow, things are more appreciated when they are new and out of reach.

Workload is piling up as usual as college life is switching into the serious mode already. 2 tests were over and one more Further Math coming up. Gaga.

For these few weeks, I've been a brave girl exploring around the streets of SS15. Market, Mediterranean, Salmon Steak, Taste Bud, Asia Cafe... yada yada, and more to come. Honestly, 1 hour lunch break is too short for a proper meal. But well, I'd rather go home early than have longer lunch breaks. Practically leaving college at earliest, 3pm everyday.

Student Council campaign was pretty much of a meaningless thing to me, actually. First off, everyone barely knows everyone. The campaigning process was more of like promoting yourself to people whom you have already known or known you. So, what's the point?

To those who do not know the candidates, they will still remain blur about who you are and what you can do. Because, how much can you tell about yourself through a 15 minutes campaigning session? What can you tell through your BIG posters, attractive posters with sexy pose, free candies and choc? And until now, I still hear people asking... "Who is this J fella running for President post?", "Who is this girl running for Secretary, can do work borr?" In the end, people still vote for their classmates or friends, regardless of who they are and without even considering twice if those candidates can really make a difference. In the end, friends vote for friends. And the one who has most friends or THE look- WIN lahh. So, sometimes I really wonder, is it student council or friend vs good looks council?

Or was it about catchy quotes, posters and freebies again? I dont know. You decide.

And the promises? Well, I'm really interested to sit, wait and watch (;

Nuff said. I only wished I could skip the voting tomorrow. Or all I could do is - Use my powerful woman instinct lohh.

Stepping into college is already a quite challenging transition process to most of us. Imagine those kawan who leave their home, pack 2 big bags and travel all the way from Sabah, Sarawak or other states of the country...

Signed up for college, paid up the fees and now what?

Actually there are various factors that one needs to consider before settling down at a place :

1. Location

Try to look for rooms situated nearby your college /KTM station / bus stops / work place so that it is easier to travel everyday. You wouldn't want to get late for lectures or work every morning, kan? And also, places with restaurants or food court easily accessible. (:

2. Money Matters

If you're on a tight budget, slowly look around for suitable rooms with a lower rental. Go for non-air conditioned rooms, they'll be much cheaper!

3. Laundry

Some owners do offer washing machine/laundry services with extra charges. If you think you're a lazy bum or have not even washed a single piece of garment before, then you might need to consider this.

4. Others

For girls, maybe you might like to search for a house that's fully occupied by female tenants only. Well, safety first (:

These are only few of the useful tips. The rest still pretty much depend on you to judge, for instance, do you like the owner, your house mates, the condition of the house and etc etc...

New Chapter of Life : College

Everyday is a brand new day.

And, so is today (:

As I stepped into Taylor's University College compound today, I see no familiar faces as it was only 7am lah. Too dark! :P

Orientation for a whole day and got to know more about the college. Tried my very best to remember important places so that blur worm like me will not loss my directions in the first few weeks of college life. Very memalukan.

This year there are about 740 Cambridge A Levels Pre-U students coming in for January Intake, filling up the whole Multi Purpose Hall. Met with classmates and class mentor, Ms Ching, who will also be my Mathematics lecturer. Our class was assigned with 2 student helpers, Shirley and Mee Kuan. They were there to play games with us so that we got to know our classmates better. Only one of my ex-schoolmates is in the same class as me. Wheeeeeeeee...

Okay, I've decided to do Chem instead of Economics, and now my only aim is to obtain 4As for CAL.

Hanging on. With all the words of encouragement, support and motivation, I know I can and I have to. This is the only way out.

Tomorrow going to look for books and references!

Parents and Children.

Sounds familiar? I bet you've heard of these or anything similar, at least once in your lifetime as a student or a child.

Undeniably the society today has been made to believe that : Academic achievements are the key to high post in big companies and fat pay cheques.

However, should everything be judged by the sheet of cert and result slip alone? Should a boy or girl's capability be judged by only a one-day performance? Is that fair?

What about the hard work that they have poured in and all the sacrifices that they've made throughout the years in preparing for that one major exam? Late night studies, tuition marathon, panda eyes, sleeping at 2 and wake up at 6, the pain and agony that only we understand...

Can an 'A+' or 'B' or 'D' grade on the piece of paper grade everything?

A flu on the examination day can make a good student sway.

And, not only that, so many other factors are affecting the final results. Need not speak much.

So, at the end of the day, do YOU think it's still fair to reward your children based on the As or Cs on the result slip? Or have I changed your mindset to pat them on the shoulder for putting in all the hard work and tireless effort to score and excel, in other words : make YOU happy?

Really. There are so many opinions on love. Some say it's a sugarcoated journey, some claim that it's a painful path to walk on.

Mine? I think if you love someone, you sacrifice. Willingly, with no regrets. Just like our Papa and Mama, and husband and wife, lovely couples and even love for friends or hobbies. You enjoy the journey, no matter how scarred your heart will be, no matter how much agony you have to put through and endure. Because you know it's all worth it. Isn't it?

To look at the sunny side, the joy and happiness that one can harvest from love or a loving relationship is far more valuable and priceless. Forget bout all the scars and bruises that you get from loving others, after all they make you tougher and braver to face each day.

Some people say : Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a teardrop.

But I say : Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. - Lord Tennyson.

Just as much as I love shopping, I love to be loved and to love others as well. Open up your heart and let love flow into you.

Hatred can never be appeased by hatred. By love only is hatred appeased.

And never be ashame to show some love to the world. Recycle to keep mother earth healthy, throw your arms and wrap them around your PaMa, say thank you to the hawker stall uncle who serves you meal, hold the door for the Popo in front of you, give up the seat in the bus to the Gong Gong, show your teeth "Eeeeee" to make someone's day.

Stye Stye Die.

"A stye, or hordeolum, is a small bump that can appear on the outside or inside of the eyelid.

A stye develops from an eyelash follicle or an eyelid oil gland that becomes clogged from excess oil, debris or bacteria."

A stye is what that causes the stinging pain in my eye. Mr. Doctor gave me a course of antibiotics to be finished and ointment to apply every night. Hope it recovers before college starts, while for the mean time, I'm officially banned from wearing contact lens. Sigh.

Treating a Stye:
Warm compresses:
Gently press a very warm washcloth against the eyelid for 10 minutes at least 4 times per day.
Massage:
Gently massage the entire area to speed healing.
Antiobiotic ointment, eye drops or pills:
Antibiotic ointments or eye drops may help cure the infection. If the skin around it is becoming infected, antibiotic pills may be needed.

And when I say listen, it happens with the mouth shut *zipped*

But the thing is, not all the time we're in such a good mood to listen to you yabbering away and nagging and nagging and nag nag nag..

At times, I really wish I could drive or just run off with my pair of elephant legs to somewhere nearby, but that would only make things worse.

So... the only way to solve is to hide away in the room and blabber in my blog.

The last thing I need is to have a chipped nail and bleeding non stop.

Pain in the Eye

There's something growing under the eye lid and poking my pretty eye ball.

Pain lahhh

Tried to clean the puss with tissue paper and now my eye is filled with the colour RED

Stop poking my eyeball please. And whenever i bend down, the pressure builds up at the back of the eye as though the eyeball is gonna pop out. It hurts!

Looking with a blurry eye.

Went to the clinic but the eye specialist will not be available until wed. Heading to hospital tomorrow. Dont know what I'm expecting this time. Pray that it's not gonna be a long visit. I still need to study for undang test on wed, and I'm only just starting. Feeling so reluctant to open up a book to study after the long long SPM war. Dang.

My 1st after-SPM vacation is to Penang. It sure does feel good to meet up with PoPo, Aunt, Uncle and cousins again.

Simply chucked some baju in the bag and voila! That's what HOME feels like. You don't have to dress to kill, just a T and hot pants. Outfit that you will never wear and walk on streets(:

Most of the time, I lazed in the room and enjoyed my Gossip Girl Season 2. Glad that they've finally got Wireless at home. Gossip Girl is addictive, the unpredictable plots and charming characters. I'm almost finishing it.

The moment we reached, food was the first thing that came into our mind. Lok Lok, Laksa, Duck Egg Char Kuey Tiao, Exhaust Karat (Super Hot) Mamak mee, Yao Char Kuai, Chee Cheong Fun @ Little Genting... ... And not to forget, Yiyi's Sacha Sotong!

Praise her more often, and you might dig some more gold out of the chef who does not cook more than once a week.

Kek Lok Si is worth going. It's so developed now with the newly built Inclined Elevator. The Guan Yin Pavillion was magnificent. Burned uncountable joss sticks during the trip. Wishing for my good result in SPM (:

Cousin #2 is now a pro at playing Violin. He had a performance on Saturday. While for me? My biggest achievement is to get Cousin #1 watch Gossip Girl with me (:

Ended for the rest.

One more paper! Whee.
Returning SPBT books on Thursday.
Going for Chinese tuition every morning till next week and I'm done.

Ending the year soon. (:
